KOCHI :  Eastern Condiments joins with Malayalees in Kerala and all over the world to welcome Onam festivities with an iconic song for the second year in succession. The lyrics of the song titled Onam, Thiruvonam, Nallonam portrays the essential ingredients of the most celebrated festival of Kerala, including the culinary specialties associated with the celebrations. Noted playback singer Sithara sang the song. 

Eastern Condiments Private Ltd (ECPL) CEO Navas Meeran released the song in the presence of Sithara at a glittering function held in Kochi.   

Commenting on the event Navas Meeran said Onam represents the best of everything connected to Kerala. “Eastern is delighted to be associated with a great legacy and help everyone connected to Kerala for carrying forward the spirit of Onam festivities with glitter &glory”. Food and music are integral parts of Onam. Onam Sadya (Onam Feast) and Onappattu (Onam Songs) are synonymous with the festival. As the leading food products brand, Eastern is proud to associate with such a great legacy and promote the same idea to a larger audience, Navas Meeran said.          

Echoing the spirit of Onam festivities Manoj Lalwani,Chief Marketing Officer said 'Onam, Thiruvonam and Nallonam' song will act as a trigger for the beginning of the celebrations. "ECPL will always be in the forefront of such celebrations and festivities”, he said.

Eastern had begun to implement the Onam Song idea from last year. The Onam song Undo-Unde performed by Sithara last year became a mega hit.

'Onam, Thiruvonam and Nallonam' song is expected to trigger the beginning of the celebrations by capturing the entire spirit of Onam festivities. Noted writer BK Harinaryanan wrote the lyrics of Onam, Thiruvonnam, Nallonam while music is composed by Malabaricus.
